Momentum Wheels
A few weeks back, the guys at Momentum wheels up in Vancouver, BC sent us a couple sets of their new urethane gems for us to test ride. Well, after my little buddy Juneau had his play time with them, followed up with several sessions at the local skateparks and a few lengthy hill bombs, I’m psyched to report that the 53mm Rick McCrank signature slicks held up tough against the harsh concrete and canine abuse. No signs of flatspots whatsoever… good, good urethane with these specimens for sure.
Past the superior quality and durability, these mighty fine looking wheels include the stylish illustrations of Andrew Pommier too, so you don’t have to roll around like a goon with some stupid looking graphics spinning below your feet.
We’ve taken notice that Momentum has been steadily gaining momentum with their recently released full-length video, “Un Momentum Por Favor” featuring its team line up which includes: Chris Haslam, Rob “Sluggo” Boyce, Brandon Biebel, Jereme Rogers, Corey Sheppard, Ted De Gros, Travis Stenger, Aaron Johnson, Nathan LaCoste and others on the rise up.
