Vox - Dan Drehobl Shoe
Dan Drehobl’s been giving his sweat, blood, heart and soul to skateboarding for many years now. If you’re a longterm skateboarder you already know that right? He’s been on the road, in the contests, demos, videos, mags, on floors, couches, and backyards…the dude’s been everywhere and then some. Well, Ol Corpsey’s finally been rewarded for his decades of skating and dedication with his very own signature foot piece from the dudes at Vox. They know what’s up and what is rightfully deserved.
The upper of Dan’s shoe is constructed primarily of canvas with double-stitched leather panels that support the toe, heel, and lacing areas. The slim, anti-puffy tongue provides a nicely shaped fit to the foot and is topped with a woven label to embellish Dan’s name in script. As an added feature, the sock liners (insoles) feature personalized art stylized by Dan for a personal touch.
When you get down to the vulcanized sole, it closely resembles the look and feel from one of Dan’s former footwear sponsors. We won’t name names, but it grips in the same manner as those soles and is perfect for those numerous pivot to fakie combos or tough boardslides at your favorite spot.
So whether your flippin’ in and out of your tailslides or a secretive ledge in town or just blasting head high over a skatepark hip this shoe’s got the right feel and function for your skating. Hop on a pair, support Dan’s smoking habit, and feel the realness of skateboarding.
