Transworld Skateboarding Video #18

Transworld has put out eighteen videos already? Man, time flies. As you might expect their latest DVD installment features a pretty solid variety of street skaters.

Cooper Wilt starts his part by stating he enjoys skating everything and wants to remain unlabeled as a skateboarder. His strong part proves this point. Whether it’s flips in ditches, wallrides or rooftop madness, Wilt steps it up. Daewon shows up for a sick loveseat blunt and Haslam’s beard is seen for a few tricks. Good stuff.

And did I just mention beards? Next up is Chocolate’s Chris Roberts. He’s got way too many manual tricks on lock and throws in some backwards bike riding and Kenny Anderson for good measure. I also really dug the song used for his part, that Gerry Rafferty guy sounds good.

Then we’ve got a 16MM video montage, some shredding by Plan B Boy Ronson Lambert and a solid Chad Tim Tim experience. Chad loves skateboarding and it really shows here. You’ll have to watch this one twice to catch it all.

And then there’s P-Rod. Yup, that one comedian’s son is on here. Sounds by The Go! Team and appearances by one Jereme Rogers and Mike Taylor. Some insane tricks go down but for some reason I was left waiting for more. Maybe it’s all the hype? In any case Paul puts together some sick lines, no question…but it’s not an ender.

That honor goes to Mr. Dylan Rieder. Cast or no cast, the kid is good. I won’t blow it for you, but lets just say that Dylan is a force to be reckoned with.
