BMW made one (kinda) and now Ferrari has decided to jump into the skate market. Our only question is who the hell is going to pay 170 bucks for this thing? Oh wait, it also comes with “a stylish red nylon carry bag”. NOW it’s worth the cash for sure. Look out skate industry…Ferrari is coming into the game hard.

Remember the lunatic that snarled traffic along Southern California’s jam-packed 405 freeway by pushing along its lanes on Go Skateboarding Day? Well, he’s back with an apology of sorts….kind of.
Like most dedicated and talented visual artists, Thrasher magazine’s miracle man and sharp-eyed skate photographer Michael Burnett’s time has truly come. He’s recently launched his very own website, published a book of his tours from last summer and will be up in Portland this weekend to do a little photo show at the Dept. of Skateboarding to officially celebrate his kick ass efforts of awesomeness (and the release of the book of course). If you’re in the Rose City on Friday be there to shake the hand of a dude that truly gives a damn about skateboarding and does a great job of documenting those who live and love it.
Legendary Santa Monica skater and original Z Boy, Jay Adams was released from a Federal Correctional Institution in Sheridan, Oregon yesterday where he served two and a half years behind bars for his connection to a heavy meth deal between California and Hawaii.
Jay Boy has returned to Southern California to resume life with his family and plans take on a job as the facilities manager at Hurley.

Sources in the news media have revealed that Ryan Sheckler has apparently broken his arm just four days prior to this week’s Maloof Money Cup at the Orange County Fairgrounds. Despite the unfortunate injury, Shecks still intends to skate to the best of his ability for a chance at the largest-ever first place prize of $100,000.
Whether he will be able to swing a club for a scheduled charity golf event later this month remains in question.
Foundation has discovered a new superstar for the super company’s am team. His name is Alex Gourdouros and we’re not sure whether he’s been actually voted onto the lineup by his new teammates with his display of dropped opportunities or skilled trickery. All the same, Congrats dude, now get in the van. Summertime rolls on!
