‘On The Road’ with Deluxe
Deluxe has launched a new blog section of their site, On The Road…we’ll let them explain:
“On the Road features our road reps and known associates lives and stories direct from each of them. No BS here, they tell it like it is when they want from wherever they are. Who knows, maybe they’ll be in your town at your local shop taking care of business… or maybe you’ll see one stumble out of your favorite local bar.”
Sounds like a good idea and worthy bookmark.

Element Skates At Kat Von D’s
You may have seen Mike V getting work done on the the TLC television show LA Ink this past season. Well now the crew of Mike V, Bam and The Muska have been filmed skating the in-shop ramp for a upcoming episode to air next season. Element has all the photos here. Yup, skateboarding, television, fame and tattoos…what a combo.

Epicly Later’d Wild Ride 17, End Of The Road
O’Dell wraps up the Emerica Wild Ride with only 17 episodes. This one follows the boys to the streets of San Francisco for Wild In the Streets and then winds down. We’re excited for the Cardiel episode. Here’s a preview.

Independent Northwest Online Video Exclusive
Indy is jumping into the online video scene with both feet by presenting Independent Northwest, an online exclusive video series with 10 total parts, released 2 parts per week. After all parts are released online you’ll be able download and burn your own DVD complete with provided cover art. Pretty trick.
Skaters include: Peter Hewitt, Chet Childress, Matt Mumford, Darren Navarrette, Dan Drehobl, Al Partanen, Omar Hassan, Andrew Currie, and Sammy Baca. Anti Hero Virtual Demo
Deluxe has posted some video and photos from a recent Anti Hero mini-ramp demo at Prooflab. It’s just like being there…product tosses, BBQ and beer, ramp shredding and heavy metal. Oh, and Busenitz ripping. Good stuff.

Evel Knievel : 1938 - 2007
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, stunt legend and daredevil Evel Knievel passed away on Friday at age 69. And while we are a 100% skateboarding site, we feel the need to honor a guy who inspired a huge number of skaters past and present. In fact, his official site is the ‘Site Of The Week’ this week…so go watch some video of his insane slams and amazing jumps. Inspiring stuff.
