Later’d Again With Dill

The show is back with another set of episodes featuring Jason Dill. We’ll let O’Dell explain it:

“This is the second Dill episode we’ve done—I’m always down to bring people back. Anyway, for this one I basically just pointed the camera at Dill and asked him to run through every part he ever filmed.”

Good stuff…take a look.

Vert Skaters…Are Getting Older

As the last of the X-Games articles hit the web, this article discusses the aging vert stars or as the article puts it: “The sport has even been around long enough to now have its own version of an old timers’ game”. The author talks to Bucky Lasek, Burnquist and, of course, mentions Shaun White. Our favorite line from the story:

“A toddler next to the practice ramp drew big laughs Saturday when he pointed up and said “mama, it’s Snow White.”

Burnquist On The Olympics

The New York Times asked Bob Burnquist what he thought about skateboarding in the Olympics. He was skepical: “I’m not going to be the one blocking it,” he said. “I’m just going to be the one asking the hard questions, at least for myself, whether I’m going to be involved or not.”

And, big surprise, Shaun White “said he would be willing to compete in skateboarding, as he did at the X Games”.

Time will tell if it’s actually going to happen in London.
