Posted by bkThrough the Skateboarding Sucks site we’ve learned that the etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest has embarked on a more friendly approach towards photo jockies (moms and dads) and upcoming skate photographers. That’s right, now you can BUY your way into the park with a few select choices of passes to shoot with your friends or family members. In all fairness, you might also be required to wear a helmet to do so, and of course, there are other rules too.
In this digital world at least you wouldn’t have to pay for your film and processing, right?

Posted by ChrisSkate shoes are big business and Tony Hawk is always getting the big money. Although he didn’t design his new shoe for mid-level retailer Kohl’s, they are using his name and visuals to move them off the shelves:
“Hawk provided inspiration for the shoes, but Kohl’s produced the actual design for the brown, black, white and patterned footwear, said Kevin Mansell, president of Kohl’s, based in the Milwaukee suburb of Menomonee Falls. Many of the shoes feature the bird of prey also found on Hawk’s shirts.”
The shoes will go for around $40 a pair.
