A Blank Future for Skateboarding?

Blitz Distribution has recently launched an insightful site, “A World Without Pros.com” that touches upon the fight against the escalating sales of blank skateboards. Andrew Reynolds, Geoff Rowley, and Tony Hawk are featured amongst many other top professionals that support this effort.

The choice is yours whether you decide to put your purchase towards professional skateboarding. We stand behind skaters that support skate brands, big and small.

Note: The opinion expressed here is bk’s and does not reflect the thinking of the entire SKATEDAILY.net staff. Thanks.

Bam’s Mtv Marriage Hits The New York Times

Yeah, it doesn’t really fall into the realm of skateboarding (or does it?)…but we were a bit surprised to see a story devoted to Bam Margera’s upcoming wedding and TV show in the New York Times.

“There is also the hope that the wedding might break the network’s unlucky streak of celebrity couples — Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson, Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler — whose marriages unraveled soon after they appeared in MTV reality shows.”

We’re taking bets on how many months it will last…who’s got the single digits?
