Whalecock Returns!
We have just received word that the mighty Whalecock Skateboards is back in business. Launched many years ago by one Dave Carnie, the brand is now set to be ‘the biggest thing in skateboarding’…and from the looks of their new website they are well on their way. Besides, they have signed Morrissey as their first am. Quite impressive.
Although their online store isn’t operational yet, word on the street is that you can email orders via the site if you just can’t wait. You’ll also want to add the newly launched Cock Blog to your bookmark list. THAR SHE BLOWS!

Gonz Goes Gnar Gnar
The latest video from the Krooked camp is entitled ‘Gnar Gnar’ and by video…we mean video. It was filmed(on a VHS Video camera) & edited by Mark Gonzales & his friend Sam Salganik and is only available on VHS. Plus, only 1000 copies will be available. Past Gonz it features the skating of Dan Drehobl, Van Wastell, Bobby Worrest as well as guest parts by Alex Olson and Christian Hosoi.
Look for it at your local shop and get ready to dig out your VCR.
And speaking of Mark, if you’re at ASR this weekend check out his art auction going on at the adidas booth.

Rob & Big Make Mtv History
Who would have guessed that a DC video part would lead Rob Dyrdek and Christopher “Big Black” Boykin to pulling in the best Mtv ratings of all time?! It happened last week during three episodes of ‘Rob & Big’.
Not surprisingly the series has been picked up for a second season by Mtv. From Lois Curren, EVP Series Development, MTV: “Our audience absolutely fell in love with the charming duo’s bizarre daily escapades and now, we’re thrilled to bring Rob and Big back for a second season to MTV and MTV2 for more of their lovable, non-stop, comic adventures.”
Will Producer Jeff Tremaine bring these “lovable, non-stop, comic adventures” to big screen success like Jackass? Only time will tell.

Skateboarding Robot
Now you can buy a little robot that skateboards on his own for only $2,000. His official website has some video to prove it. The bad news…he also roller skates. At least he isn’t in fruit boots.
