The New York Times Goes Hardcore

The New York Times talks to Jamie Thomas about building and maintaining a successful skateboard brand in a market “who define their world by its antiestablishment bent”.

They also talk to Nike about their multiple attempts to make a dent and even throw in Hawk and Quiksilver for good measure.

Schmitt Returns To Bro Bowl

Jay Adams’ Lost Time

Skate journalist Keith Hamm has generated a special article to the LA Times about the life and tough times of the one and only, Jay Adams. The golden boy from a vanished era is currently behind bars awaiting to be sentenced early next year for an alleged drug deal in 2004. While locked up, Jay has written the captions for a newly released photo book, “Jay Boy” that his stepfather Kent Sherwood has produced with the assistance of Glen E. Friedman.
