Matix Grateful Shred Tour Photos

Linking Up for Harold
Supporting the spirit and great memories of Harold Hunter, the crew at KCDC along with fine lensman R.B. Umali and Harold’s many, many friends are throwing together a skate jam, party, and video premiere in his honor. It all begins this Saturday, October 7th at Chinatown Park under NYC’s Manhattan Bridge. Rain date: Sunday. Be there!

Take One for the Team
After leaving Popwar a few weeks back, Chad Tim Tim has been enlisted to Element’s pro team. Rising ams Levi Brown, Jimmy Lannon and Mike Barker join him there as well. Former Element rider, Jake Rupp has found a new home at Creation. Cooper Wilt now rolls on Accel wheels. Patrick Melcher joins Richie Jackson over at Death skateboards with a signature model. Silver trucks picks up Ronson Lambert as a member of its am squad.

Viva La Resolution
Bam Margera and Mike Vallely have settled a lawsuit with drunk jocks Tom Sayers and Adam Dailey who sued the two skateboarders after seeing themselves get beat up in the “Mike Vallely vs. Four Random Jocks” segment of CKY3.

On Deck in Missoula
The determined and organized skatepark association of Missoula, Montana has a recently experienced a huge and very successful grand opening of the town’s local skatepark. It’s not common to have the Birdman and his friends to show up to your local park. Clearly, the Missoula skate community has reaped the benefits of hosting benefits.
And they’re not done yet. Check out their online “On Deck” art show and auction now. Bidding ends on October 6th.

Chris Hall Interview, Classic Footage
The Forgotten City has posted a short Chris Hall interview and he talks about the new Get Familiar video and the latest on when it’s going to drop. Also at Forgotten City is ten minutes of classic Washington DC street footage circa 1993 as seen on 411 Issue #1. Definitely worth a viewing.
Over at his site, Get Familiar, Hall has posted some classic NYC video footage (one video of Harold Hunter, Scot Schwartz, Mike Wright, German Nieves, and Rob Campbell and one of The Gonz) so be sure and check that out as well.

If you haven’t caught Clyde Singleton’s monthly column in The Skateboard Mag every month you’re missing out…it could be the funniest take on skating put to print. Luckily for those who want more Clyde has decided to start a weblog entitled, The Chronicles Of Piff Huxtable. Good shit.
