Another Round of Team Change Ups
There’s plenty of movement going on in the ranks at the moment. First off, free agent Danny Garcia is said to have inked up to link up with éS footwear while his good friend Raymond Molinar follows suit. New developments are on the rise over at Plan B. Brian Wenning has been announced as their newest recruit. Arizona’s top rail chomper Nick Forini has landed onto the am team at Darkstar.
Another week goes by and Chris Haslam gains another sponsor…he now rolls purely on Swiss precision. Master of bling, Terry Kennedy has landed with his Cheshire fronts over at Venture. Following the recent departure of Popwar’s originator, Cairo Foster, both Mike Barker and Chad Tim Tim have both jumped toward other opportunities as well. Popwar’s former Team Manager Paul Sharpe is now working with Cairo and the lively and crazed dudes backing rainbows and pandas.
Rebounding from the demise of the World team this summer, Chad Bartie has signed with a new board sponsor not so far from him…his brother Jamie Bartie’s growing international brand Kewday back in OZ. Mike Crum is said to be getting creepy at Creature. Yesteryear’s hot shot and media darling, Anthony is backing a new set of colorful toe protectors called Black Sheep. Fitting?

éS Game of SKATE Brings Regional Am Finalists to ASR
The Boost Mobile / éS Game of SKATE World Amateur Championships kick off on Saturday at noon, at ASR in San Diego… éS and Boost flew twenty-eight skaters from around the world, who won their respective local Games of SKATE, and put them up complete with cash, free gear, dinners with the éS team, and even an ASR badge! These skaters will be going head-to-head for the top spot and the chance to skate against the pros for $10,000.
Some big names are confirmed for the pro éS Game of SKATE, but we don’t want to jinx anything… Who will show up? Will Koston finally win one? Will Rodrigo TX mix it up? Will P.J. skate? Rumors abound about Chris Cole, Chico Brenes, Javier Sarmiento, Bryan Herman, Jamie Thomas, and more getting in on the fun. And once again, the crew at éS manages to somehow get those responsible to open the doors to the public, so the kids will be there… Will you?

If you happen to be in San Francisco on Saturday, September 30th there’s gonna be one huge gathering of skateboard-infused artists, photographers, and musicians at Club Six. Yes, World War Six is coming and it’s got an all star line up of talent packed within its four walls.
