This Saturday, May 19th, a special Badlands Anniversary Bash presented by Utility Boardshop is geared up to take place at the Upland Skatepark. Skate legends that cut their teeth as teens at the Mt. Baldy pipe, backyard pools, ditches and at the Pipeline Skatepark will be on site to skate and mix it up with skaters of all generations. Head on out there this weekend and be part of the history that matters.

Good Wood to Benefit Detroit’s RideIt Sculpture Park

The Good Wood Exhibit, a fundraising art auction which will close in Detroit, Michigan on May 26th, 2012, features 100 skateboards created by a who’s who of artists from the skateboarding world and the contemporary art scenes in Detroit and beyond. 100% of the Good Wood proceeds go directly to fund building of a do-it-yourself style skateboard park in Detroit named RideIt Sculpture Park. Emerica’s Wild in the Streets will be held June 21st, in Detroit, also benefiting RideIt Sculpture Park.

Bastien Salabanzi Joins 2012 Street League Line Up

Amongst fifteen European pros, The EU Selection at the DC Embassy Park has come to an end with Bastien Salabanzi attaining the final roster slot in 2012’s Street League. Bastien will join 23 other top pro skaters in the 2012 Street League DC Pro Tour Fueled by Monster Energy on May 18th – 19th in Kansas City, Mo. The finals will be live on ESPN2 on May 19 at 9PM ET.
