The A.Skate Foundation is continuing to put the word out for artists to donate their artwork to their 3rd annual “1 in 91″ art show and fundraiser in Orange County in April. All proceeds will directly benefit the A.Skate Foundation which assists children with autism. Please do your part, tell your friends and others to get involved with this great cause.

Set into motion within the garden of an art gallery and studio located in an Arabic country, Dubai’s Tashkeel design team created a skateable art sculpture with a distinct Arabic presence. They came up with the obvious… The Arabic language. Arabic characters by their very nature have inherent elements that could be assembled and flow together into a skateable structure, so the designers sat down using the logo of Tashkeel (meaning art) and created a 3 dimensional drawing which was then modified to include skateable elements (stairs, gaps, rails, etc) while still maintaining the authenticity of the Arabic language.
