For the past seven months or so, filmmaker Sean Pointing has been regularly meeting up with East Anglian artist, grafter and The Harmony founding father Dave Dixon, documenting the evolution of his concrete DIY spot “Antifornia”. This well shot film is more than worth ten minutes of your morning, so sit back and get watching now, as Dave talks you through the reasons why he started working on a DIY spot, building it up from it’s first humble ramp to the obscure and unique playground that it has become today.

Bones Releases Its A.Skate Benefit Wheel

Bones has just released a benefit wheel that represents autism and their commitment to help A. Skate. All sales of this special 52mm STF wheel will directly benefit and bolster the effort to create an outlet for kids and families who are affected by this disorder.

There are couple more additions to the revamped etnies roster this week with Nick Garcia and Andrew Brophy jumping on board. Who’s out, who’s in? With the heavy shoe contracts these days, only time can tell.

Ryan Flynn Exhibits “No Posers” in Atlanta

Atlanta-based skaters should be sure to make their way over to Ryan Flynn’s photo opening titled “No Posers” this Saturday evening, October 1st from 7pm to 10pm. This particular body of work features a backyard ramp where a group of friends would meet at on Wednesdays over the past couple years.

The show hangs until the October 29th at Youngblood Gallery in conjunction with Atlanta Celebrates Photography. Have a look and have a drink with Flynn and crew.
