Etnies and Girl have collaborated on a new shoe design for Sean Malto called ‘Dueces Wild’. Over at their site, Etnies has posted a new web feature with a Malto video and photo retrospective.

For all his hard work, both on and off of his board, Rodney Torres has been rewarded with his own ‘Masters Division’ deck from Zoo York. As a skater, a skatepark advocate and part time FuelTV correspondent, ‘El Toro’ has been a centerpiece of New York skateboarding for years and seems to have no plans of dipping out any time soon. The L.A. Skate Film Festival

The L.A. Skate Film Festival is an international film festival dedicated to putting the limelight on skateboard filmmakers. To make it the best and most legit event of its kind in skateboarding’s history, an Academy of Skateboard Filmmakers has been created. The Academy will nominate the films, nominate the judges and manage other creative tasks.
The fesitval is open to all filmmakers. Shops, independent filmakers and brands will compete for awards in various categories. The Festival will also hand select 10 classic skate films that will be handed over to the judges for nomination in the ‘Best Classic’ category.
There a still a few more weeks to submit your entries. The screenings will be held August 31st and September 1st at The Downtown Independent in Los Angeles with the Awards Ceremony taking place on September 2, 2010 at The Music Box in Hollywood. Those unable to attend the event will be able to watch all the action on FuelTV.

DC Shoes has announced its sponsorship of the Battle At The Berrics 3 (BATB3). As the official footwear sponsor of the contest series, which begins this Saturday, May 29th, DC has created a limited edition footwear package called the ‘BATBOX’, which will only be available at The Berrics and Unified.
To support the most viewed skateboarding competition in the world, DC created the ‘BATBOX’, a sealed shoebox containing a limited edition pair of
shoes, a ticket to the BATB3 finals, a personal item from a DC team rider, a Battle At The Berrics 2 DVD, and a one-year subscription with The Skateboard

Blood Wizard At FTC

Chris Senn and some of the Blood Wizard team will be at FTC this Friday, May 28th to premiere their new promo video. Senn along with Skinner, Foz, Tahiti, Toad and more will be displaying their artwork and there will be free beer for those over 21.
