According to this NDTV report, rollerblader Taig Khris dropped into a huge quarterpipe positioned 39 feet beneath the first floor of the Eiffel Tower today. The feat was said to have surpassed Danny Way’s previous world record bomb drop at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel in April of 2006. Something tells us that this won’t sit so well with Danny.

World Cup Skateboarding has posted the results from this week’s Asian X Games in Shanghai, China where Tyler Hendley won the street competition and PLG took the top spot on the first-ever Mini Mega in the far east.
Next weekend top pro and am skaters will descend upon the streets of NYC to take part in the first-ever Maloof Money Cup on the east coast presented by Vans. Seattle’s “All City Showdown” is probably the most unique, street-level approach to an actual street skating contest to date.
