éS Team Heads To Europe with Love

The éS Skateboarding team that includes Mike Anderson, Justin Eldridge, Danny Garcia, Kellen James, Rick McCrank, John Rattray, Rodrigo TX, Bobby Worrest is jumping the pond for a European skatepark tour beginning next weekend. The group will be rolling ‘To Europe With Love” along with a few special guests to visit and get wild at a host of skateparks in the UK, France, and Spain.

Girl Releases Second Part of Outbackwards Footage

The crew at Girl Skateboards has posted its follow up segment of tour footage from the team’s Outbackwards travels and skate demos down to Sydney and Canberra. While the team shreds the parks and streets of OZ, Cory gives out hugs and Malto proves that he indeed has the magic touch.

Fundraising Never Tasted So Good

Whether or not you are old enough to remember when skateparks weren’t popping up in every city, you should never forget that all the success comes from hours and days and months of fundraising, hard work and co-operation. Tomorrow night, Roc-City rolls on in its mission to build their park in Rochester, New York.  Drink for a cause as a portion of the proceeds from the night at Damian’s will benefit the park project.

Also, for those of you in the NYC area, there is a select screening of Downtown to Deathbowl this Friday night in Hoboken, New Jersey at the Burchard Auditorium located on the Stevens Campus. All proceeds go to the Andy Kessler Foundation and Hoboken’s own Parks & Recreation Department (put towards the Hoboken Skate Park).

 

Huck Art Nominated

The U.K.’s HUCK Magazine has been nominated at the  Design and Advertising Awards (D&AD) in the Magazine and Newspaper Design category for the HUCK x Little White Lies Spike Jonze / Where The Wild Things Are covers illustrated by Geoff McFetridge. The winner’s will be named at the awards ceremony at The Roundhouse in Camden on June 3.
