Solitary Arts Seeks to Raise Funds for Kenny Brimer

Our friends at Solitary Arts have been collecting donations for a close-friend, Hawaiian skater Kenny Brimer, who has been diagnosed with Leukemia.  So far they’ve raised approximately $5000 just from kind donations.  To further help Kenny and to expand awareness of Leukemia in general, they’ve specifically created a benefit shirt for Kenny with Bad Brains and ROIR Records. These shirts become available today through the Solitary Arts site.  The graphic is original/official Bad Brains, ROIR Records logo, and Kenny’s own artwork that adorns both the front and back of each shirt.  We’ll keep you posted for an upcoming auction with artist contributions and proceeds to benefit Kenny.

    I wanted to make an impression at a loved ones reunion and remember the names of all of the new husband’s family members. There was one gent whom I’d asked his name and tried quite to keep in mind but failed repeatedly. Finally he bailed me out and mentioned his name was Dick. With out a thought I swiftly said, “Gosh, how could I forget? You *look* like a ‘Dick’!!!”
