P-Rod did it again. wow. what a tech run and how flawless it was.
I wish I could skate as slow and lifeless as P-Rod. Style and speed are so 5 years ago. It’s all about the gold medal though… so whatever it takes to win, I need to do it.
Who was the one cat during the best trick session who was FLYING across the screen, doing the big, fast ollies? Every now and then I’d see him dart across but I didn’t see who it was.
I’m loving FuelTV’s webcasts.
It was Jordan Hoffart.
Man, the Fuel TV webcasts are great. Don’t miss a thing. Except in the best trick, since it probably would be impossible to focus on every skater trying to hit that ledge at the same time!
What was up with the N.Huston acting like second place just wasn’t good enough for him!!? That kid is moving to the top of my annoying skaters list. The contest was great, skating is at an amazing level and I’m stoked to see it everytime! Thanks Skatepark of TAMPA!!
The p rod did a few tail stalls and even jumped off his board to do another drop in (another tail stall) he didn’t even charge it! The run to me was boring. If you really think about it, the switch kick flip lip slide was the sickest thing he did. I believe all the top 20 could have done most of his tricks and also I forgot to mention he even did like 3 kick turns i guess thats because he skates so slow thats the only thing he could do with the speed he had.
Wow. I thought I was going to fall asleep during his run.
It was about as exciting as watching a game of Skate.
Technically amazing but with no heart.
I hear ya. P Rod’s got some serious skills but its like he’s manuevering rather than skating. I don’t care if he was the first one in the park every morning before the contest, he needs to stop rehearsing and start skating. He needs to watch some Cardiel footy and hope some of it runs off on him. Maybe lock himself in a room and watch Video Days on repeat for a month.
And Toyota is about the lamest sponsor you can have (unless you’re playing a game of “runaway car”) . Sorry Lutzka.
Gotta love the armchair quarterbacks, maybe you guys should stick to playing EA skate if you want to be entertained by switch triple hard flip to crooks. This is a real life skate contest. A lot of it has to do with style.
Is a kickflip is just a kickflip no matter how does it?
When a master artist draws a picture of a simple flower is it going to come out the same if you try to draw that same flower?
Your chubby little brother can probably land a kickflip but is it going to have the pop and steez of one by say Andrew Reynolds?
I can’t believe your blog isn’t more popular. The information you give here would be useful to many people if you were only ranked better in Google. I found your site through a friend of mine or even I wouldn’t have came.
