Santa Gets Ink For Lurker Vision

So, Animal Chan is at it again for The Skateboard Mag. For this episode of Lurker Vision he visits the Deathwish ‘Merry’ Skate Jam and asks everyone the following : “If Santa was getting a tat, where would he put it, and what would he get?” Very on-point question for this crowd. Guess who has the ender question? And remember kids, (nose) tattoos are for life.

Tis’ The Season…

Year End Tax Breaks

The end of the year is near. And now’s the time to donate a portion of your hard earned cash over the past 12 months to one of your favorite skateboarding charities or advocacy organizations. Yup, you can either give the government everything you owe, or direct a chunk of it to a non-profit of choice (below or elsewhere) to reap a bit of tax benefit for 2009. While you’re at it, check in with your employer to see if they have a gift matching program. It’s a great thing to give back to skateboarding on all levels. Do it. You really don’t have an excuse…Uncle Sam is gonna pocket your taxes 100% otherwise.

Upgrades and Upstarts

The latest Canadian on its team to be upped to the pro ranks, Ryan Decenzo is killing it on an offering of his signature decks at Darkstar. DGK has welcomed Marquis Henry to its growing team of dirty ones. Respected street stylist Gino Ianucci is rolling tough with Mighty Healthy goods from this point forward. Cory Kennedy has been officially welcomed to the esteemed Nike SB squad by fully earning it. Look for his first ad in a skate publication soon. Moving up the chain with overdue recognition from his Habitat sponsorships, Alex Davis has also properly earned a spot on Quiksilver’s powerful skate team roster. A new wheel business in the mix, Broadcast has launched its brand with a team of talent to include: Ethan Fowler, Paul Shier, Shiloh Greathouse, Gareth Stehr, Danny Falla, Aaron Harrison, Joel Meinholz, Eric Gilbert, Kevin Coakley, and Connor Getzlaff.

    Stump the Chief At DLX

Killer idea from the folks over at Deluxe. It’s basically a quiz show format forcing Jamie Thomas to release crazy ass truck designs. The guys in Nor Cal just keep pushing this whole web game to new levels. Who else would have come up with this type of concept? Click and let the madness begin.
Part 2 is up now. Check it and VOTE.
