Fuel TV is getting ready to deliver a live HD webcast of the Vans Downtown Showdown this Saturday, September 26th from 4:30pm – 9:30pm PST. $85,000 is up for grabs on the streets of the world-renowned Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA where Girl, Toy Machine, Creature, Black Label, Sk8Mafia, Blind, Flip, Zoo York, and Foundation will be in the mix.
Perhaps one big reason to watch the skate action is that one lucky viewer is going to drive home a new Mitsubishi whip! Captain & Casey will co-anchor the webcast and the SPoT boys are doing the play-by-play live on the scene. Tune in…you might win.

It’s with heavy hearts that we inform you that Eric Stricker the editor of Transworld Skateboarding magazine has passed away today. Again, we’ve lost one of the truly great ones that stood up and rolled behind what we live for – skateboarding.
Our deepest sympathies and positive thoughts go out to his family and friends worldwide in this very difficult time of loss. Rest in Peace Eric.
