11th Annual Tim Brauch Bowl Results

The 11th annual Tim Brauch Memorial Skateboard Contest took place over the weekend at the Scotts Valley skatepark and San Jose’s Lake Cunningham with a large crowd of friends and supporters on the scenes.
Reports that have trickled into us from the sidelines at Lake Cunningham’s keyhole pool disclose that Duane Peters was taken out of the competition early with a painful and unfortunate fall on a his signature styled layback rollout. His rear foot slipped off the tail of his board and he did the splits down the wall and ended up dislocating and fracturing his hip. He’s already back up on his feet with the use of crutches. We wish him a speedy recovery.
The Pro division was a bit of a mash up between established bowl riders and a heap of unknown/under promoted teens. From the results below, it looks like the upstarts had their day.
Look for a full report and results at World Cup Skateboarding’s site soon.

Get Served At The DLX Cafe

There’s been a lot made lately about Deluxe’s new website, and they aren’t quite finished yet. They have a new feature set up that allows shops access to all of their online digital content. Its called The DLX Cafe and has everything from their online catalogs accessible for shops to use as they see fit. Photos, backgrounds, product comps, videos, banners, etc., are all at your disposal for designing your own ads and in store news featuring any and all of the DLX brands. Its only available to skate shops and is password protected, but they have a pretty damn funny video tutorial with the boss at the controls. Get served here.
