Dyrdek, Carl’s Jr. And Marketing Madness

By now you’ve seen the ‘viral video’ of Dyrdek and the burger chain’s Happy Star logo…but the marketing doesn’t end there. He’s also set to release a line of plastic cups that highlight his new feature film, line of toys (Wild Grinders!) and his new line of shoes.
Carl’s Jr has also thrown some cash into the new La Fayette Skate Park in Los Angeles. Which is set to open today complete with TV cameras and free burgers. It’s great that new parks are opening, but using skateboarding to sell fast food to kids is always hard to swallow.
