Nike SB Southern Posse Rolls Dirty

The Nike SB crew keeps the online content flowing on their site with this new clip filmed by Jason Hernandez featuring Grant Taylor, Justin Brock, Shane O’Neil, David Clark, and SB flow rider Dan Plunkett rolling deep in the dirty south. Was that private backyard bowl session really in Alabama? We’re sworn to secrecy.

Give Thanks for Mike Carroll

Skateboarding works in ways often unimaginable… for example it’s wild to realize that I’ve known the Carroll brothers for close to twenty years now and like them, there are many of us that continue to roll on planks of wood as aging men. For the Thanksgiving holiday, Epicly Later’d gives us a bit of a history lesson on why we like Mike. Check back for more tomorrow.

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner NOT A Skater

The Wall Street Journal has set the record straight, incoming Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner is NOT a skateboarder. Yesterday a Fed spokesman said that Mr. Geithner doesn’t actively participate in skateboarding. Still the article mentioned the active skaters in public office in park heavy Portland, Oregon namely Tom Miller and Mayor-elect Sam Adams.
Still, it’s amazing that so many blogs and news agencies were interested in just the RUMOR that Geithner might have skated. Hey Obama are you listening? Make some real news and get an empty pool in the Rose Garden.
