February is a busy month for seasoned bowl riders of the world. On Saturday, February 16th, the locals and the world’s top bowl riders will jam together in a little bit of Bowl-a-Rama at the Waitangi skatepark in Wellington, New Zealand. The following Saturday, February 23rd delivers much of the same ruckus with perhaps with even more reputable names and legends to the beautiful bowl situated on Australia’s Bondi Beach.
Then Saturday, March 1st many of the world’s best skateboarders will bring the noise over to Australia’s famed Sydney Opera House for Thrasher and Globe’s Slaughter at the Opera. $50 large is up for grabs in an all out throw down on a back to back 7 stair to 11 stair handrail jam. Some of the confirmed riders are: Stefan Janoski, Nick Dompierre, Rick McCrank, Alex Olson, Eric Koston, Justin Brock, Chima Ferguson, Eric Koston, Brian Anderson, Matt Mumford, Peter Ramondetta and Sean Malto. Sounds like a good time.
