    Rumours are Fucked

We should’ve known better and checked our facts more accurately before posting a “Top 3″ submission from an outside source (a dude claiming Agent 725) in regards to rumours of three skate companies going out of business. Lance Mountain had emailed us to inform us that his company The Firm is alive and well.
Lance writes: I’m sorry the rumors are not true, after 30 years of skating I wont be stopping what I love, especially with all the junk out there that’s suppose to be a skateboard team or our competition, they will be long gone before I stop skateboarding. Does any of these companies stand for anything or is there a purpose for them? There are lots of good companies and skateboarders out there only time tells who was great.
So show support of those companies and brands that have been around through the tough times and the good times, not those trying to cash in quick while the market is ripe. Skateboarding is yours…go get some.
    Our apologies Lance.

    Flip Demo This Weekend

If you live anywhere near the Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter you’ll want to run, not walk (or better yet skate really fast), to the first all Flip team demo stateside since 96′. Skating will be Mark Aplleyard, Geoff Rowley, Arto Saari, Tom Penny, and Bastien Salabanzi. Sounds like it’s going to go off. Also, TWS has posed this mini-interview with Rowley throwing down some past demo stories.
