Tonight at the New Image Art Gallery in West Hollywood at 8pm, writers Andy Jenkins, Dave Carnie & Lori Damiano will be reading from the new Skull Press book Life & Limb, Skateboarders Write From The Deep End. The gallery will also be hosting an art show from October 9th-31st featuring artists from the book (including Mark Gonzales, Ed Tempelton, Scott Bourne & Jocko Weylan).

The Heart and Stroke Foundation will stage the first ever I HEART Skateboarding event on Aug. 11 at the Shaw Millennium Park, Calgary which they expect to attract more than 2,000 ‘kids’. The event is call attention to good eating and exercise habits to lower obesity in children.
Some team riders from C1RCA will be on hand to fight the fat, including Adrian Lopez, Colt Cannon and Peter Ramondetta. Further information about the rest of C1RCA’s ‘Summer Heat Tour’ can be found on their website.

The 10th annual Mystic Skate Cup in Prague provided one hell of a great weekend of skateboarding. Skaters from all over the world gathered to join in on the super solid street course and vert ramp and shared in the good times that went down. On the vert ramp Sandro Dias landed not only one, but TWO 900s in the best trick skate jam! The street best trick jam session was just as gnarly.
